‘Lockdown 4.0 in the country will be different one’

New Delhi: While mentioning on the need for countrymen not to allow their lives to revolve around coronavirus (COVID-19), Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the Lockdown 4.0 will be imposed across the nation with a new set of rules.

Stating the Lockdown 4.0 will be a different one as compared to the other three lockdowns, the Prime Minister added details will be provided to the countrymen before May 18. Worth mentioning, the Lockdown 3.0, enforced on March 25, expires on May 17.

In another move, the PM announced a special financial package of Rs 20 lakh crore saying that emphasis will be on land, labour, liquidity and laws.

Beginning tomorrow, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will announce the details of special economic package.

“In this hour of crisis, local suppliers have met our demands. Indians must be ‘vocal about local’ and buy products from them,” the Prime Minister said during the address to the nation.
