Odisha police arrests wanted criminal after 3 years on the run

Balasore: Notorious criminal Chinmaya Panda alias Papa Panda was nabbed by the Balasore police from Cuttack today.

Papa was prime accused in a three-year-old murder case of wanted criminal Sushant Das alias Khasua. He was on run since then and was arrested after a series of raids by the police at various places across the state.

Papa along with 25 others were booked under IPC Section 148/16 at Sahadevkhunta police station after they brutally murdered Khasua by smashing his head with boulders over past enmity.

Sources said, there are several cases pending against Panda in various police stations.
