Berhampur: In an unfortunate incident, a person was killed  and two others suffered critical injuries in firecracker explosion at Bhimpur village under Badagada police limits in Ganjam district today.

The deceased has been identified as Bulu Mallick of Bhimpur village.

Sources said the three persons were making firecrackers when the crackers exploded. While Bulu died on the spot, three others suffered critical injuries in the mishap. Locals rushed to the spot  and admitted the injured to a hospital in Sheragada.
