Students in Odisha school attend classes at ‘Air India flight’

Malkangiri: Authorities of Kasturba Gandhi Girls’ Primary School in Malkangiri district thought differently to generate interest among students in studies and put a check on rising number of dropouts. The school authorities painted a picture of large Air India plane on the school wall.

Not only the novel way has grab the attention of students, it has also given a flight to their imagination. It has become the talk of the town and people from different quarters of life have appreciated the idea.

Happiness of students knows no bounds after the Air India plane painting has come up on their school wall. From a distance the flight painting creates an illusion of an actual plane.

“While entering the classroom, it looks like I am boarding a plane. This makes me a lot happier,” said a jubilant student.

“Apart from making studies enjoyable for the students, this wall painting helps us teach them about a plane’s different parts and generate curiosity about Science,” said a teacher.
