Two arrested for pelting eggs at Odisha Law min’s car

Odisha police have arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in egg pelting at the vehicle of Panchayati Raj & Law Minister Arun Sahu in Puri yesterday, police sources said today.

Two arrested persons have been identified as Swadhin Panda and Yogendra Sahoo.

It may be mentioned here that Swadhin was arrested earlier for hurling eggs at Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Sanjay Das Burma at Special Circuit House in the pilgrim town on January 3 alleging largescale irregularities in the allotment of ration cards to beneficiaries under National Food Security Act (NFSA).

Yesterday evening, Congress’ activists pelted eggs at the car of Sahu near Saradhabali in Puri town while he was returning after inaugurating the Shreekhetra Pustak Mela.
