National Games: Minati wins first gold for Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Feb 2:

International weightlifter Minati Sethi won the first gold medal for Odisha at the 35th National Games at Kerala today.

Sethi bagged the gold medal after lifting 192 kg (82 kg in snatch, 110 kg in clean and jerk) in the 58 kg women’s event.

She had bagged a gold medal in the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship at Apia, Samoa in June, 2012.
