Air Asia to operate more flights from Bhubaneswar airport

Bhubaneswar: Good news for air passengers flying from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar as Air Asia is going to soon operate four more flights from the airport.

Tourism Department Secretary Vishal Kumar Dev informed that the airline will operate four more flights on three routes. Also, the State government is in talks with IndiGo for flight services connecting Bhubaneswar to Dubai.

“We are hopeful about the beginning of Bhubaneswar-Dubai flight services soon,” Dev added.

Last month Air Asia, the Malaysian low-cost airline headquartered near Kuala Lumpur, had suspended flight operations between BPIA and Bangkok, the Thailand capital.
