Zilla Parishad member murdered in Bonai, Odisha

In a shocking incident a zilla parishad member of Bonai was found murdered with his throat slit in Deogaon area in Sundergarh district in Odisha today.

The body of Dasarath Oram, a popular BJD leader was found lying on the road side with multiple injuries. He was killed while coming back home on his motorcycle from Ravan Poda festival in Bonai village, yesterday.

Police has taken the body as well as motorcycle in its possession for further investigation.
“A murder case has been registered. We are investigating the case. Our scientific and forensic team has been called to the spot. We have been questioning various people about the incident. We are investigating the case and will find out who has murdered the victim and why was he murdered,” said Radhabinod Panigrahi, SSP, Bonai.
The locals are protesting against the murder and demanding CBI probe by holding blocking the road.
