These stores to deliver essential commodities at doorsteps in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: At the stressful time of corona scare to make essential commodities available at the doorsteps of citizens and ensure social distancing, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has roped in 28 stores and outlets of Reliance Fresh, Big Bazaar, Vishal Mega Mart and Aadhar Fresh to ensure delivery of goods between 7 am and 11 pm from tomorrow.

BMC has also provided the list of WhatsApp numbers of the contact person’s of the respective nearby stores.

To avail the service one citizen has to send the list, amount of essential commodities needed and local address to the person concerned. However, no phone call will be entertained in this process. BMC sources said one can pay the bill amount while receiving the order/consignment from the nearest store.
