Explosion during bomb preparation kills two in Odisha

Deogarh: An explosion during preparation of bombs claimed lives of two persons at Chilandikhola village under Deogarh police limits in Odisha last night.

The deceased have been identified as Ranjit Bhoi and Santosh Pata of Kansar village under Riamal police limits.

According to reports, the two were preparing bombs at a relative’s house at Chilandikhola when a blast took place killing the duo on the spot. The bombs were being made for hunting animals, sources said.

Police have recovered the bodies for post-mortem and initiated an investigation into the incident.
