Boudh: Taking a stricter initiative to fight against COVID-19, Boudh administration announced closure of all offices till indefinite period in the district.
All the government offices except health institutions and police stations shall remain shutdown from 2.00 PM on July 24 till further orders,” said an office order issued by Boudh Collector today.
The district collector directed all the employees of government offices to stay at headquarters and keep their mobile phones switched on for communication if any urgency arises.
The move came after 41 fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported from Boudh district in the last 24 hours. Since most of the government employees were found positive for COVID-19 in a past few days, the district authorities announced shutdown of all the offices.
The district reported 123 COVID-19 positive cases of which 70 are active and 53 have recovered so far.
