New ESI hospital to come up in Odisha’s Balasore
Bhubaneswar: The ESI Corporation will set up a new hospital in Balasore district of Odisha.
A decision to this effect was taken at the 190th meeting of ESI Corporation in Chandigarh today.
As per the decision, new ESIC hospitals will come up in Balasore in Odisha, Belagavi in Karnataka, Shamshabad in Telangana, Baramati in Maharashtra, Kishangarh and Ajmer in Rajasthan, Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, sources said.
“The 190th meeting of ESI Corporation in Chandigarh took some important decisions to strengthen social security for India’s Shram Jeevis, furthering PM Narendra Modiji’s vision,” said Union Minister for Labour and Employment Bhupender Yadav in a twitter post.
The meeting also decided to continue providing financial support to the North Eastern states and Sikkim for implementing ESI scheme, said Yadav in another twitter post.
