New exam pattern for Plus 2 students announced in Odisha; here’re details

Bhubaneswar:  Odisha Government today announced a new examination pattern for students appearing in Plus Two annual examination, following a reduction in the syllabus owing to COVID-19 pandemic.

The new question pattern is meant for both regular and ex-regular students, registered in and after 2016.

However, the question pattern and syllabus for students registered in and before 2015 will remain unchanged, said School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash here today.

Around 50 per cent of the revised question set will have multiple choice questions (MCQ) with one mark for each. Besides,  there will be 30 per cent objective questions and students will have more options to select from the same. Each question will carry two or three marks. Rest 20 per cent of the question paper will have subjective questions carrying five marks each. In this category also, the number of options has been increased, the Minister added.
