Odisha: Governor appoints Shyama Bhakta Mishra as OPSC Member

Bhubaneswar: General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) department, on behalf of Odisha Governor, appointed senior OAS officer Shyama Bhakta Mishra as the Member of OPSC, today.

Additional Secretary to the Government of Odisha Debabrata Mallick issued a notification in this regard vide his Office letter number GAD-FE-PSC-0012-2014-l774/Gen.

“In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (1) of the Article 316 of Constitution of India, read with Regulation 5 of the Odisha Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1952, the Governor of Odisha has been pleased to appoint Shri Shyama Bhakta Mishra, OAS (SS), Managing Director, Boyanika with additional charge of Director, Handicrafts as Member, Odisha Public Service Commission for a term of six years from the date he enters upon his office or until he attains the age of sixty-two years whichever is earlier,” the official notification read.

Notably, the conditions of service of Mishra as OPSC Member shall be regulated in accordance with the provisions of the Odisha Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1952 as amended from time to time, the communiqué mentioned.
