Odisha: One more arrested for stripping girl at sea beach

Balasore: More than a month after a college girl was stripped by three youths at Talasari beach in Balasore district, the police today arrested another accused in connection with the case.

As per reports, the arrested person, Daitari Changei was nabbed following several raids by the police team in recent past. Earlier, another youth was arrested by the Talasari Marine police after the incident came to fore on August 11.

Sources said the cops have launched a manhunt to nab the third accused involved in the case.

Worth mentioning, the two arrested persons along with another youth had stripped the girl and thrashed her male friend, who had visited Talasari sea beach. They also filmed the whole wrongdoing and uploaded a video clip on social media sites.

After the video went viral, a local organisation (Mahamaya Self Help Group) had filed a case with Talasari Marine Police Station demanding immediate action against the accused persons.
