Odisha’s Deogarh district to have two more courts

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved for setting up of an Additional Civil Judge Court (Junior Division) and a Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court in Deogarh.

The two courts will be set up at Barkote of the district. After completion, the courts will be useful in quickly disposing of pending cases and giving justice to the denizens, the CM hoped.

The Law Department has created 12 gazetted and non-gazetted posts required for the courts.

A number of cases are still pending in Deogarh district and await an early disposal.
