Bhubaneswar: Ace shooter Shriyanka Sadangi from Odisha bagged gold medal at 64th National Shooting Championship held in Bhopal yesterday.
She clinched the yellow in the Women’s 50 metre Rifle 3 position event at the ongoing National Shooting Championship in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Odisha Sports Department congratulated Shriyanka for bringing laurel to the State in national level shooting competition.
Miss Shriyanka Sadangi created history as she became the first National champion in shooting from #Odisha, bagging a Gold medal in the Women’s 50m rifle 3 position at the 64th National Championship in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh today.

Ace shooter Shriyanka Sadangi is a PhD student of the KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.
KIIT Founder and Lok Sabha member Achyuta Samanta also congratulated Shriyanka on her success.
Earlier, Shriyanka had won silver medal in women’s 10m rifle Qualifying Round of National Selection Trials on January 10 this year.
In 2019, she had brought silver in the 10m Air Rifle women individual event at the International Shooting Competition of Hannover in Germany.
