Unidentified miscreants snatch Rs 3 Lakh from man near Central Bank in Odisha’s Rourkela
Rourkela: In a broad daylight heist, two unidentified miscreants today robbed an elderly man of Rs 3 lakh from near the Central Bank premises at Koel Nagar locality under Jhirpani police limits in Rourkela of Sundargarh district.
According to a police source, a snatching took place when the victim account holder was coming out of the bank’s branch after withdrawing the money for his requirements. The bike-borne criminals wearing face masks intercepted the elderly man. They snatched away the entire amount and fled from the spot soon after committing the crime.

The elderly man later lodged an FIR with Jhirpani police in this regard. Acting on this, police have launched a probe to nab the two wrongdoers, which is underway.
