Bhubaneswar: Another 3267 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state's tally to 1,16,678 informed the Government.
Khordha recorded all-time-high 859 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (384) and Puri (235).
Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 1961 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1306 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 28,743. However, 87,351 patients have recovered in the state so far.
It is pertinent to mention here that total 46,754 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 19,97,345 tests have been conducted in the state.
