355 Prof, Associate Prof, Asst Prof posts vacant in govt medical colleges in Odisha: Minister

Bhubaneswar: As many as 355 Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts are currently lying vacant in government medical colleges in Odisha, said Health and Family Welfare Minister Niranjan Pujari in the Assembly today.

The minister was replying to a question by Khandapada MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik.

As per the information provided by the minister, the total sanctioned strength for Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in government medical colleges in the state is 1656.
