CHSE Plus II Arts, Vocational results out; check pass percentage here

Bhubaneswar: The results of Plus II Arts and Vocational courses examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha was out today.

The pass percentage in Arts and Vocational courses stood at 82.10 and 70.35 respectively.

The results of annual examination in Arts and Vocational courses streams were released at 4 pm at office of the Council here. The CHSE Director Ashwini Mishra announced the results.

Total 2,08,631 students in Arts stream had appeared in the examination this year, of which 1,71,288 passed. Similarly, 3991 students out of total 5673 students cleared the annual examination in Vocational stream.

Like every year, girl students outshone the boys this year too with 87.45 pass percentage in Arts stream and 74.73 pass percentage in Vocational courses stream.

Of total students, 62,734 have scored first division, 41,193 in second division and 67,341 students in third division. Total 20 students cleared the examination in compartmental.

While Khordha district emerged the best preforming district with highest percentage of students pass out of 87.80, Nabarangpur district registered as the lowest pass percentage with 64.16 this year in both the streams.

The results will be available on the Council’s website www.chseodisha.nic.in after 5 pm today. Students can also be able to check their scores on www.orissaresults.nic.in.

On July 27, the CHSE had announced the results of Plus II Science and Commerce annual examinations. While the pass percentage for Science was 94.12, the pass percentage in Commerce stream stood at 89.20.

This year, the annual Plus II Examinations were conducted in offline mode after a gap of two years. Last year, the examination was held in virtual mode due to Covid-19 pandemic.

The examination was held between April 28 and May 31. A total of 3,21,508 students in Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams had appeared in the examinations at different centres across the state. While 2,13,432 students in Arts steam had registered for the examination, the number of examinees in Science stream was 78,077. Similarly, 24,136 students in Commerce stream and 5,863 students in Vocational courses had registered for the annual examination.
