Heat wave warning for Odisha districts till April 30; Check day-wise forecast

Bhubaneswar: Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail in several districts of Odisha at least till April 30 as the Regional Meteorological Centre here today issued Yellow Warning in this regard.

Maximum temperature is likely to be above normal by 3 to 5°C at many places over the districts of interior Odisha and likely to be above normal by 2 to 3°C at a few places of coastal Odisha during the next 4 to 5 days, the Meteorological Centre forecasted.

Below is day-wise weather forecast for Odisha till April 30 in connection with the heat wave:

April 27: Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Angul, Deogarh, Sonepur and Bolangir.

April 28: Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Angul, Deogarh, Sonepur, Bolangir and Boudh.

April 29: Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Angul, Deogarh, Sonepur, Bolangir and Boudh.

April 30: Heat wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, Sambalpur and Jharsuguda.
