Injured python rescued in Bargarh in Odisha

Bargarh: A two-feet long injured python was rescued by forest personnel in Baragaon village of Bargarh district in Odisha today. Preliminary investigation detected severe injury on the reptile’s head after which it was given primary treatment and kept under observation for a day. Official sources said since the python’s head was seriously wounded, it could not regain consciousness. A team from OUAT in Bhubaneswar has arrived and further treatment will begin at the earliest.
