Light rain very likely in these Odisha districts on February 1 & 2; check details

Bhubaneswar: With no significant synoptic system lying over the region, light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over several districts of Odisha on February 1 and February 2, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre forecasted today.

In its evening bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum temperatures observed appreciable rise at a few places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha & North Interior Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were appreciably below normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, below normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, above normal at a few places over the districts of Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”

Temperature forecast: No large change in the Minimum (night) temperature during next 4 to 5 days at many places over the districts of Odisha.

The highest maximum (day) temperature of 31.5°C was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum (night) temperature of 10.0°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Koraput, Rayagada and Mayurbhanj.

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
