Odisha teacher suspended over obscene video post

Kendrapara: A school teacher paid a big price over an obscene video post on WhatsApp group in Odisha’s Kendrapara district.

The accused identified as Akshay Kumar Swain, the headmaster in charge of Nilakantheswar Vidyapeetha at Bhatapara under Rajnagar block, had allegedly posted an obscene video on the district education officer (DEO) office WhatsApp group.

Taking disciplinary action against Swain after the matter came to fore, DEO Udaynath Majhi on Wednesday suspended him from service with immediate effect.
