Two West Bengal couples rescued from drowning in Puri sea

Puri: Four tourists from West Bengal were narrowly escaped as they were rescued from getting drowned in Puri sea here today.                                     

Sources said the tourists, including two couples from the neighbouring state had come to visit the pilgrim town and were taking bath in the sea near Chaitanya Chhak here. However, the four suddenly got swept away by the strong water current. Fortunately, some Lifeguards present at the spot swung into action and managed to rescue all of them with the help of tubes.

Health condition of all the four tourists-Gobinda Dhara and his wife Tanushree and Babula Malakara and wife Juma was stated to be stable.
