CS, ICAI exams postponed amid COVID-19 pandemic

Bhubaneswar: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India today postpone Company Secretary examination for June 2020 session. In a similar move, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India also postponed CMA examination for June 2020 term until further notice.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India said the examinations of Foundation, Executive and Professional Programme and Post Membership Qualification (PMQ) will commence from July 6, 2020. The revised schedule will be announced later.

Worth mentioning, the CS examinations were scheduled to be held from June 1, 2020 to June 10, 2020.

Meanwhile, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) said the Foundation, Intermediate and Final examinations will commence from July 20, 2020. Those examination were scheduled from June 11-18, 2020.

The revised schedule of the examinations in details will be announced soon, the ICAI said in a statement.
