Govt staff in 18-44 age group in Cuttack to get Covid jab at offices

Cuttack: In order to ensure more denizens in Cuttack city get the Covid jab, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) decided to launch a vaccination drive for government employees in the age bracket of 18-44 years.

Cuttack Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ananya Das informed government employees in the 18-44 age group in the city will be vaccinated at their offices. The special vaccination drive will be launched next week, Das added.

Meanwhile, the municipal corporation announced online slot booking for Covishield vaccines in Cuttack city will be open at 6 PM today. The vaccination slot booking will open in www.cowin.gov.in for both 18-44 and 45+ age groups.

It added no walk-ins at the Covid vaccination centre will be allowed.

Those who will book a vaccination slot are required to carry relevant ID proof and Appointment Slip while visiting the Covid vaccination centre, the municipal corporation stated.
