Headless body of youth recovered from forest in Odisha

Kalahandi: Body of a headless youth was recovered from Sunamukhi forest near Alatara village of M Rampur under Karlamunda tehsil of Odisha’s Kalahandi district today. Locals spotted the body and informed police. On getting information, M Rampur IIC Sachindra Pradhan reached the spot and initiated an investigation. Identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet as the body was beheaded and further reports are awaited. Sources said the three rings were spotted on the right fingers of the deceased along with scuff marks of bike on his palm. The body has been seized and exact cause of death will be established after the postmortem report, police said.
