Odisha: Shivlings found in Suktel river

Balangir: Two Shivlings were found in Suktel river in Odisha’s Balangir district today.

A few children of Chandanbhati village under Balangir Sadar block stumbled upon the Shivlings while bathing in the river in the morning.

Soon, villagers gathered at the spot to have a glimpse of the stone-made Shivlings. The villagers of Chandanbhati and its nearby areas also started worshipping the Shivlings, sources said.

“A few kids of our village found the Shivlings while bathing in the river. It is nothing but a miracle for us. We have started worshiping the Shivlings as Baba Chandaneswar,” said a villager.
