Sex racket busted, 3 including 2 youths arrested from Odisha’s Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Malkangiri police claimed to have busted a sex racket which was reportedly being run from a rented house in Kumutigida area of Odisha’s Malkangiri district by arresting three persons including two youths from the area on Wednesday night. Two women were also rescued during the operation.

While the accused youths were found to be natives of Sukma in bordering Chhattisgarh, the two women were from  Jharsuguda and Malkangiri respectively. Sources said as locals saw strangers entering a rented house at odd hours for a long time, they got suspicious and informed the police.

After getting the information, a team led by the IIC reached the spot and  carried out an operation where it was found that flesh trade was being carried out from the place. While the cops nabbed three persons, two women were also rescued.

Malkangiri IIC said the operation is ongoing and all others involved in the racket will be nabbed soon. The accused will be forwarded to court.
