The Lawrence School, Lovedale, Celebrates its 166th Founder’s Day 

Bhubaneswar: The Lawrence School, Lovedale, which is located in the picturesque surroundings of Lovedale in Ooty and is one of the oldest boarding schools in India, is celebrating its 166th Founder’s Day from May 23 to May 25.

The three-day celebrations will showcase a range of exciting events, including the thrilling equestrian show “Sunset Sensation”, art and craft exhibitions, and a variety entertainment program called “Kaleidoscope”. The “Trooping of the Colour” parade and the captivating “Beating Retreat” will mark the end of the celebrations on May 25.

Senior IAS official Sanjay Kumar from the Government of India’s Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, who is  the Chairman of the Board of Governors of The Lawrence School, Lovedale, will be the Chief Guest at the Founder’s Day event, confirmed headmaster D V S Rao.
