25 school students fall sick as lizard found in mid-day meal in Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak: Around 25 students of Sankarpur Urdu Upper Primary School in Odisha’s Bhadrak district fell sick after a lizard was found in mid-day meal at the educational institution on Monday.

As per reports, the lizard was spotted at the bottom of the rice container. After consuming the food, the students complained of vomiting.

They were immediately taken to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital for medical checkup.

All of them were discharged from the hospital after checkup and observation while their condition was normal.

An investigation will be conducted into the matter and action will be taken against those responsible for the incident, the local BEO said.
