Bhubaneswar: As many as 43 persons more died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in Odisha taking toll to 3,123.

“Regret to inform the demise of forty three numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

The fresh fatalities were reported from 18 districts included Angul (4), Balasore (1), Bargarh (3), Balangir (3), Boudh (3), Cuttack (4), Dhenkanal (1), Ganjam (2), Jharsuguda (4), Kendrapara (1), Khordha (5), Koraput (1), Mayurbhanj (2), Nuapada (1), Puri (2), Rayagada (1), Sambalpur (1), Sundargarh (4).

Khordha district continues to record highest single-day deaths of 5 followed by Angul, Cuttack, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh districts with 4 each.
