Bhubaneswar: Woman who sustained injuries in accident involving Range Rover dies

Bhubaneswar: A woman who had sustained injuries in a road accident involving a Range Rover SUV near Power House Chhak in Odisha capital died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Cuttack, today.

The deceased was identified as Lopamudra Sahu.

The mishap took place on October 31 when the SUV hit a motorcycle on which retired CRPF jawan Kanhucharan Nayak and his relative Lopamudra were travelling.

The two had sustained critical injuries under the impact of the collision and were admitted to the Capital Hospital here for treatment.

Lopamudra was later shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and subsequently to a private hospital in the city as her condition deteriorated.

However, she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

On the other hand, Kanhucharan’s condition was stated to be critical.

Police have already arrested Soubhagya Kumar Bag, driver of the SUV.
