Car carrying Nabarangpur MP Ramesh Majhi meets with accident in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Nabarangpur MP Ramesh Majhi sustained minor injuries as a car in which the parliamentarian was travelling met with an accident at Dargaguda near Umerkote, late last night.

As per reports, the mishap took place when Majhi was returning home via Raipur after conclusion of the Budget Session of the Parliament.

A tyre of the ill-fated vehicle burst, as a result of which the driver lost control over the wheels. The car then veered off the road and descended towards a roadside bush.

The driver and the PSO of the MP also sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The three were treated at the Umerkote Community Health Center.
