Collision between 2 motorcycles kills three men in Odisha’s Jeypore

Jeypore: At least three men were killed and four others sustained critical injuries as two motorcycles collided near Dumuriguda under Jeypore block of Odisha’s Koraput district, last night.

The deceased were identified as Padman Harijan (24) of Dhanapur, Gopal Harijan (22) of Jayantgiri and Dhananjay Harijan of Sanamandapadar.

As per reports, the mishap took place at around 10.30 pm when the victims were travelling on the two motorcycles. The ill-fated vehicles collided head-on, leaving all of them grievously injured.

They were rescued by police and rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital, where doctors declared three of them dead.

Out of the four injured ones, two were shifted to Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital for better treatment.

Police recovered the bodies for post-mortem and initiated investigation into the incident.
