COVID ‘Vaccination at Doorstep’ launched in Odisha’s Berhampur

Berhampur: The Berhampur Municipal Corporation has launched ‘Vaccination at Doorstep’ initiative to administer COVID-19 vaccine to elderly persons who are above 70 years of age and those who are not able to walk or bedridden.

Such citizens can dial 7328099324 between 8 am and 12 noon and provide their details for booking.

The ‘Vaccination at Doorstep’ vehicle will reach the houses of the persons next day, subject to availability of vaccine.

Presently, one vaccination vehicle is operating in the town on trial basis. A target of vaccinating 100 such citizens daily has been set by the civic body in the first phase.
