Dense fog warning issued for several districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here has issued dense fog warning for several districts of Odisha for the next three days.

It also forecasted that minimum temperature (night temperature) is very likely to rise by 2 to 3°C during the next 2 days and no large change thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha.

Below is day-wise forecast regarding foggy conditions.

Day-1 (valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 13.01.2023): Dense fog very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Keonjhar, Jajpur and Khurda.

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Day-2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 13.01.2023 up to 0830 hrs IST of 14.01.2023): Dense fog very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Nayagarh and Kandhamal.

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Day-3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 14.01.2023 up to 0830 hrs IST of 15.01.2023): Dense fog very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Sonepur, Bolangir, Kalahandi and Kandhamal.

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Balangir, Kalahandi and Kandhamal.
