e-permission launched for movement during lockdown in Twin City

Bhubaneswar: In order to help employees of IT, ITeS and private companies move in the twin city of Odisha during the lockdown and weekend shutdown imposed to prevent spread of Covid-19, the Police Commissionerate started e-permission for them.

The IT, ITeS and private companies that were allowed to function as per the guidelines issued by the Odisha government during ongoing lockdown and weekend shutdown restrictions can access a system developed to issue e-permission to their employees.

Worth mentioning, there are restrictions on the percentage of employees who can be allowed to move during the lockdown.

The e-permission can be generated by visiting the website https://cp.erp.quocent.com/
Automatically a copy of the permission will reach to DCPs Offices and no need for further stamping/receipt acknowledgement.

The system has been developed by Quocent Pvt. Ltd for the Police Commissionerate Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.

Employees of the IT, ITeS and private oragnisations are required to carry the e-permission along with id card.

In case the e-permission has not been generated, the organization can issue an authorization letter (a copy must be emailed to DCP Office) to its employees that they must carry along with the ID card while moving in the twin city and areas under the Police Commissionerate jurisdiction.

Shop keepers, salesman, workers etc. who have been permitted as per the guidelines, can show identity card and a letter of employer or shop trading license or any document establishing that they are in permitted category.
