Home department seeks info on retired officials re-engaged in various govt offices in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Home department today sought information on retired officials who have been re-engaged in various offices of the Odisha government.

In a letter to various departments of the state government, the Home department urged them to furnish the necessary information (with both soft and hard copy) on retired officers who have been re-appointed/re-engaged in various offices and sub-ordinate offices under their jurisdictions by June 8.

The Director General of Police (DGP) in Odisha, the Chief Resident Commissioner of Odisha Bhawan in New Delhi, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) and ex-officio principal secretary to Home (Elections) department, the Director General of Fire Services and Home Guards, the Director (Intelligence), the Director General of Prisons, the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Odisha State Police Housing & Welfare Corporation Limited, the Registrar General of Orissa High Court, the Director of Odisha Judicial Academy, Public Prosecution Director, Rajya Sainik Board Secretary and the Manager of State Guest House in Bhubaneswar were asked to furnish information on the retired officers who have been re-engaged in various offices and subordinate offices in the state.
