IPS reshuffle in Odisha: AM Prasad appointed DG of Prisons; Umashankar Dash new DIG SIW

Bhubaneswar: In a major reshuffle in Odisha IPS, HRPC Special DGP AM Prasad was appointed as the DG of Prisons and director of Correctional Services.

As per the notification issued by the Home Department today, IPS Officer Umashankar Dash, at present Additional CP of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police, was posted as the DIG of the Special Intelligence Wing (SIW).

IPS Officer Arun Kumar Ray, presently posted as the OSD in Home Department, has been appointed the Director of Printing, Stationary & Publication, Cuttack, replacing Lalit Das, who has been appointed as the Additional DGP of HRPC.

Similarly, IPS Officer Brijesh Kumar Rai, who is at DIG Headquarters, was posted as the Additional CP of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissionerate Police.
