Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to receive more downpour as another low pressure formed over the Bay of Bengal today.
According to Regional Meteorological Centre of IMD, the low pressure formed over north Odisha and adjoining areas of Gangetic West Bengal extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level.
Under influence of the system, many parts of Odisha in north and interior region are likely to witness heavy rainfall from today.
As per Bhubaneswar MeT forecast, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Boudh today.
Heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir and Kandhamal on July 30.
Heavy to very heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir, Kandhamal on July 31. Heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, Nayagarh and Kalahandi on the same day.
