Odisha matric exam candidate killed as truck runs over his head in Sundargarh

Sundargarh: In a tragic incident, a matric exam candidate heading towards examination centre was killed as a truck ran over his head near Chakramal in Odisha’s Sundargarh, today.

The deceased was identified as Amran Ray of Dhelasara in Sargipali area.

As per reports, the student was on his way to Nialipali High School on a motorcycle for the examination, during which a truck collided head-on with the ill-fated two-wheeler.

As the student fell down under the impact of the collision, the truck ran over his head, killing him on the spot.

Tension ran high at the place of accident as irate locals blocked road, disrupting vehicular movement.

On being informed, police reached the spot and tried to pacify them.
