Odisha Plus Two Exams-2022 begin amid precautions for heat wave

Bhubaneswar: The annual Plus Two Examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha commenced today with precautionary measures for the examinees in view of the heat wave condition across the state.

The exams will be held from 9 am to 12 pm on scheduled days. Concerned authorities of the examination centres have been asked by the CHSE to ensure provision of drinking water, fans, ORS and ice-box for the students. COVID safety norms are also being followed at the exam centres.

A total of 3,21,508 candidates have been registered for the exams to be held at 1,133 centres. Of them, 2,13,432 students are of Arts stream, 78,077 of Science stream, 24,136 of Commerce stream and 5,863 of Vocational Education.

As many as 202 nodal centres have been created for the exams. A state-level control room with contact number 0674-2303803 has been set up at CHSE headquarters.

Three-tier squads have been formed to check malpractice at the exam centres.
