Odisha train tragedy: Toll reaches 292 as WB man dies at SCB Hospital

Cuttack: The toll in the train accident in Odisha’s Balasore district reached 292 as a man from West Bengal died at the SCB Medical College & Hospital here, today.

The deceased was identified as Paltu Naskar of Kolkata.

He was undergoing treatment in the ICU of the government healthcare facility.

Another victim of the train accident from Bihar, identified as Sohim Mansoor, had died at the hospital, yesterday.

The train accident involving Coromandel Express, SMVP-Howrah Superfast Express and a goods train at Bahanaga on June 2 had initially claimed at least 288 lives.

Later, four more victims succumbed to their injuries during treatment at the hospital.
