Over 10 critical after gas leakage at prawn factory in Odisha’s Balasore

Bhubaneswar: More than 10 persons became critically ill after alleged leakage of poisonous gas at a prawn processing factory in Odisha’s Balasore district on Thursday evening.

As per reports, the victims, who were working at the factory located at Gadimala near Nilagiri, complained of uneasiness while some of them fell unconscious.

They were rescued and rushed to Nilagiri Community Health Centre for treatment.

Police have started investigation into the matter.

The reason behind the gas leakage was yet to be ascertained.
