Properties worth crores gutted as fire breaks out at dress shop in Odisha’s Nayagarh

Nayagarh: A major fire broke out at a dress shop in Odisha’s Nayagarh town in the wee hours of Thursday reducing properties worth crores to ashes.

According to reports, locals initially spotted smoke emanating from the shop and informed the Fire Services department.

As many as four fire-fighting units were engaged to douse the flames. The fire was eventually brought under control, this morning.

Though the reason behind the outbreak of fire was yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that electrical short circuit might have led to the mishap.
