Rahul Gandhi likely to visit Odisha in October

Bhubaneswar: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is likely to visit Odisha in October for various party programmes, informed Congress MLA Adhiraj Mohan Panigrahi today.

“Five Congress MLAs from Odisha had recently visited Delhi to meet Rahul Gandhi, who gave his consensus during discussion to visit Odisha towards last week of October,” said the legislator, who represents Khariar Assembly Constituency in Odisha’s Nuapada district.

The date will be finalised after discussion with Odisha PCC President Sarat Pattanayak.

He said that Odisha Congress has proposed to hold meetings at its four zones in Odisha. During the meeting with Rahul, the Congress MLAs also discussed for strengthening the party’s organisation in Odisha.

Besides, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also likely to visit Odisha in October, he added.
