Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Odisha’s Rayagada cancelled

Bhubaneswar: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Odisha’s Rayagada, which was scheduled for today, has been cancelled.

The party cancelled Gandhi’s public meeting in Rayagada after it announced that he will contest from Raebareli Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

Gandhi will arrive by a special flight at Fursatganj Airport at 10:30 am and file his nomination papers at 12:15 pm, today. He will thereafter leave for Pune.

He was earlier scheduled to visit Rayagada to address his second public meeting in Odisha before the twin polls in the state.

Gandhi was also scheduled to address another public in Balangir district.
